Creo Element/Pro Course Syllabus

  • Fundamentals of Creo element/Pro- Basic concept, 3D model principle, Origin of software
  • User interface explanation - UCS, toolbar, drop down menu, formatting tab etc.,
  • Principles of first and third angle projection
  • Axes conventions - X,Y and Z axis and UCS explanation
  • Basic commands used - Both 2D and 3D commands with constraints
  • 2D sketching - Line, rectangle, circle, polygon, arc, polyline, ellipse, pattern, mirror, copy, trim, extend etc.,
  • 3D Part Modeling (Solid, Sheet metal & Surface modeling) and Embodiment - Extrude, Extruded cut, Revolve, Revolved cut, Swept boss/base, Swept cut, Lofted boss/base, lofted cut, Shell, Rib, Fillet, chamfer, Draft, mirror, pattern, reference geometry etc.,
  • Assembling and motion analysis - mate, move, rotate, align,pattern, mirror etc.,and motoring for the rotation of motion.
  • Detailing with BOM using GD&T - Sheet selection, Placing the components, BOM with baloons, sectional views etc.,
  • Rendering basics - Camera and light settings, background settings, Integrated preview, region, final render, image saving process.
  • Reverse engineering using industrial components - Take any one engineering component and use vernier caliper, measuring tape for designing and reverse engineering the component and material application.
  • Production drawing reading and practice
  • Project work: Any Mechanical components can be taken and starting from Reverse engineering, the Student/Professional have to do all the activities such as measuring the dimensions, 3D modeling the same, report generation and detailed drawing according to any type of angle projection.
